• ·         Uday Akkaraju, CEO, BOND.AI
• ·         Akkaraju's program, BOND.AI, links financial institutions with the BOND.AI "empathy engine" - conversational AI technology through either voice or text that helps create a human-centric approach to banking. The tool is supposed to help banks and lenders better market appropriate services to potential customers and help users save more money.  BOND.AI has its roots in New York City, but last year moved its headquarters to the Little Rock Tech Park.

11:00 – 11:30    Southern Arkansas University Cybersecurity Program      

• ·         Dr. Mohammed Karim, Associate Professor of Computer Science / Chair, Math and Computer Science Department / Director, Computer Science Graduate Program, SAU
• ·         SAU’s cybersecurity program was recently rated 2nd in the national Cyber FastTrack competition.  The SAU program and related ones at SAU produce more Computer Science Master’s degree graduates that all other Computer Science graduate programs in the state combined.  SAU also has a program which is a combination of art and computer science for video games, virtual reality and other 3D rendering.  SAU students studying Game Development are competing in the PixelPop competition with a game they designed called Return of Curiosity.

• ·         Zachary Stine, Adewale Obadimu, Muhammad Hussain, COSMOS senior doctoral students
• ·         COSMOS studies various aspects of social media and online behavior.  Research at COSMOS has made contributions to computational social network analysis and advanced the studies in social cyber security, cyber campaign coordination, identifying powerful actors and groups, disinformation dissemination across social media, cyber threat monitoring, social-cyber forensics, health informatics, data mining, and privacy.
